I think it would make a lot of sense to have absolute paths refer to the root file’s folder. This would allow easy reuse of utility files, like common query parameters, or example files.
I agree - are you referring to the parsers, the API Designer, or just in general?
I’m talking about in the spec. Nobody’s going to use absolute paths for their computer in a RAML file, so why reserve something great like / for it? Or maybe just add a syntax, like -/ to mean the project root, which would avoid breaking previous RAML files.
